A professional cook apprenticeship offers lots of flexibility and the freedom to earn while you learn. Take your technical training at 勛圖惇蹋, Canada's most successful Professional Cook Red Seal Endorsement.

Technical training in-person or online

To get certified, you'll need to sign up for technical training in addition to on-the-job training. Camosun offers all Levels of Professional Cook training in-person and online.泭

Two ways to do your Professional Cook technical training

As an apprentice, youll spend about 80% of your time on the job, so you earn while you learn. In addition to that practical experience, you also need to sign up for technical training each year.

You can take the technical training portions of your culinary apprenticeship in person or online.

Program standards and curriculum泭are set by泭SkilledTradesBC.

啦堯梗泭E-PPRENTICE Cook program泭provides the option for泭online course delivery泭so you can work around your schedule.

Apprentice Employment Insurance

Apprentices should apply for泭Apprentice EI (Service Canada)泭financial support before the start of the program and up to 4 weeks in advance. Late applications may result in Service Canada denying funding.

Camosun accepts applications to apprenticeship technical training programs泭year-round.

To apply you must have a job with an employer who will sponsor and train you.

An apprenticemust be sponsored by an employer who is registered at SkilledTradesBC. If you and your employer agree to enter into a contract for an apprenticeship, either of you may contact泭 to register you as an apprentice.
