Award description

Empowering Women through Education, will be presented to an Indigenous Woman learner in any program at 勛圖惇蹋 who is an advocate for women's rights and has a passion for learning.

Criteria

You must:

  • be currently registered as a student at 勛圖惇蹋
  • have Indigenous (First Nations, M矇tis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
  • have aGPAof 2.5 or equivalent
  • complete the application form

Please submit a self-written letter outlining how you advocate for womens rights and your passion for learning. Include a letter of reference from a community member or instructor attesting to your advocacy work and passion. You will be asked to attend an awards ceremony.

Application process

You canapply for more than one awardusing thefor each application deadline date.

Please note: If the deadline occurs on a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4pm on the Monday.
